Penalty Abatement

The IRS may evaluate a number of different penalties on your tax account, including late filing and late payment fees. Sometimes the penalties top the actual tax debt. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you are qualified get some or all of your penalties waived by the IRS.

Installment Agreement

It is an agreement in which you to pay your full tax debt monthly, however, they are more manageable than paying your tax debt all at once. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you are qualified to pay small payment to the IRS every month.

Partial Pay Installment Agreement (PPIA)

A payment agreement whereby the full number of payments made to the IRS is less than the total amount of tax due, when full payment cannot be completed prior to the expiration of the statute of limitations. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you are qualified to pay back a small portion of your tax debt and make small payments toward that small portion every month to the IRS.

Tax Lien Discharge

A “discharge” removes the lien from specific property. There are several Internal Revenue Code (IRC) provisions that determine eligibility. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you are eligible to have the tax lien removed from your property.

Tax Lien Subordination

“Subordination” does not remove the lien, but allows other creditors to move ahead of the IRS, which may make it easier to get a loan or mortgage. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you are eligible.

Tax Lien Withdrawal

A “withdrawal” removes the public Notice of Federal Tax Lien and assures that the IRS is not competing with other creditors for your property; however, you are still liable for the amount due. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you are eligible.

Wage Garnishment Release

Your liability is satisfied and the garnishment is removed. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you can remove your wage garnishment.

Bank Levy Release

You paid your tax debt or the time limit expired, releasing the levy. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you are eligible to get your bank levy released by the IRS.

Innocent Spouse Relief

If a joint return was filed with your spouse, and the tax liability is understated. You didn’t know about the return being filed or force to sign the tax return. The IRS will put the situation into consideration and relief you from the tax owe because it is unfair to hold you liable. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you are eligible.

Currently Non-Collectible

Assigned and approved by the IRS when someone is unable to pay because of a temporary hardship. Simply speaking, you don’t have to pay unless you have money to pay back the IRS. Ask one of our Tax Experts and see if you are eligible.

Statute of Limitations

The legal time limitation (typically 10 years) that the IRS can collect taxes and levies. The start time is different based on each action taken.

Collection Appeal

The Office of Appeals is its own entity, and not a part of the IRS Collection Office. Ask one of our Tax Attorney and see if you are eligible for Collection Appeal.

Administrative Appeal

You may file an administrative appeal with the IRS under four circumstances. For complete information, check under IRS 8.7.14.4. Ask one of our Tax Attorneys and see if you are eligible for Administrative Appeal.

Tax returns can be prepared quickly and without hassle. We prepare returns for individuals who are wage-earning as well as for individuals who are self-employed. If you are a wage-earner, simply provide us with a W2 and we can get started. If self-employed, your return may be more involved. We can help with preparing returns that are accurate and easy to understand. Try us next year and see the difference Cardinal can make.

The term tax avoidance is analogous to wise tax-planning.  Lowering or eliminating your tax liabilities completely depends on your taking advantage of all deductions available to you.   Taxpayers tend to be intimated by their taxes because they assume worst-case scenarios.  Even if you are not able to pay the liability immediately, action taken is better than neglect.  Ask us how you may not need to pay capital gains tax.

Working with the right firm can save you a lot of time, hassle, and money.  The IRS and the State understand how to intimidate taxpayers into settling their alleged debt.  We know how to save you money and wipe clear the debt they claim you owe.  Call us today to learn more about how Cardinal can protect your capital from these greedy agencies.
